The Smashing Pumpkins Concert Poster

Created for Melbourne leg of The Smashing Pumpkins’ World Is A Vampire Tour, I wanted to pay homage to both one of my favorite records of all time, Siamese Dream – And my favorite city/home town of Melbourne.

This piece features a painstaking reconstruction of Billy Corgan and his Icecream truck from the iconic Today video clip. As well as a nod to a couple of Melbourne’s equally iconic sights, being the Nylex Building in Cremorne, flanked by the nightly Flying Fox migration across the summer skyline.
